Sylvan Meadows, Walberton

As part of Sylvan Meadows, a Travel Plan has been produced which sets out the strategy in helping to encourage and increase the level of sustainable travel, as well as minimising the impact of development traffic on local roads and the environment. By promoting and monitoring the type of travel which takes place by residents, the Travel Plan will look to:

• Increase awareness of the advantages and availability of sustainable / active modes of transport
• To promote health and fitness benefits of active travel to all users
• To introduce a package of physical and management measures that will facilitate travel by sustainable modes
• To reduce unnecessary use of the car for journeys to and from the site by residents
